Fortunately, many people with the Wright surname have done their DNA.
With this,
we have found answers never dreamed about before.
To put it simply, if I took a genetic DNA test and my father's, father's,
father.....and so on....
took a genetic test, our Y-chromosomes would match
almost if not exactly to each other.
The Wright ancestry starting with John Wright
born 1671 in Chester County, PA
may have already been matched.
Ancestry.com DNA testing
A descendant of John's son,
Thomas born 1720 has taken a genetic DNA test which
means everyone
in this lineage should match the genetic numbers of this
descendant.
This can only be proven through the Y chromosome which is carried
from father to son.
The Haplogroup we are in is I. It can be found in most
present-day European
populations, with greatest density in
Scandinavia, Bosnia and Herzegovina,
Croatia and Sardinia.
Haplogroup I is almost never found anywhere but Europe,
meaning it was derived
there.
Y-DNA numbers are; 393-13 / 390-23 / 19-14 / 391-10 /
385a-14 / 385b-15 / 426-11
/ 388-14 / 439-12 / 389.1-12 /
392-11 / 389.2-28 / 458-15 / 459a-8 / 459b-9 /
455-8 /
454-11 / 447-23 / 437-16 / 448-20 / 449-27 / 464a-12 / 464b-14 / 464c-16
/ 464d-16
As we find other DNA in this lineage, we will post it up.
More DNA from
this lineage will further prove where the family went and had been.
Also, DNA
evolves everyday, and can teach us a lot about ourselves.
People that have HIV and are apart of Haplogroup I
will have an accelerated progression to AIDS.
Suppression therapy also had
diminished affects on these individuals.
