Biblical Family Tree

The Biblical Family Tree can be started by the obvious Adam and Eve,
or you can start at Jesus himself. We will give you a some of both,
after all, they are connected as well.
Jesus Christ, also called Jesus of Nazareth,
was born on December 25 sometime between the years 6-5 B.C.
Jesus was a teacher and prophet, whose teachings form the basis of Christianity.
Christians believe that Jesus is the SON OF GOD and "Christ"
(the Chosen One, prophesied in the Old Testament).
Jesus was considered both God and man and the
Messiah sent by God to save the human race from
"sins" it inherited originally from the "evils" of Adam and Eve.

Jesus obviously had no children, but was he an uncle? He had 4 brothers;
James the Righteous, Simeon, Joses, and Judas.
Jesus also had 2 sisters though their names are unknown.
Judas had 2 grandsons. Many genealogies have
Joseph listed as the father of Jesus Christ.
Though he acted like a foster father to Jesus,
their biology was not that of father and son.

The Biblical Family Tree can officially start at Adam and Eve.
They had 3 children; Cain, Abel and Seth.
Seth and Cain both had descendants past them,
though Cains line seems to stop after 6 generations,
we are all supposed descendants of one Seth.

Enos or Enosh is the son of Seth, living 905 years; When Enos was 90 he had
Kenan (Qenan). Kenan was 70 when he had his only son, Mahalalel. Kenan lived to be 910 years. Mahalalel lived to be 895.
Jared, Mahalalel's son lived to be 65. Although it is said that Jared fathered many sons and daughters, the only one mentioned was Enoch.
Enoch had a son, Methuselah who is the oldest person whose age is mentioned in the Hebrew Bible. Methuselah had a son named
Lamech. He is noted as the first polygamist mentioned in the Bible, taking two wives,
Ada and Tselah. And then there was Noah of the infamous Noah's Ark. Noah is the son of Lamech. While the Deluge and Noah's Ark are the best-known elements of the account of
Noah, he is also mentioned as the "first husbandman" and the inventor of wine, as well as in an episode of his drunkenness and the subsequent Curse of Ham.
